Appointment of new Finance Director

Thomson Intermedia plc (AIM: THN), a leading provider of media intelligence, is
pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Beach to the Board as well as
Andrew's promotion to Finance Director with immediate effect.



Andrew William Beach, aged 32, previously worked as Deputy Finance Director to
Michael Uzielli who stepped down from the Board in February 2008. Andrew joined
Thomson Intermedia as Financial Controller in 2007.



Previously he worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Manager within the
Assurance Business, specialising in Entertainment & Media.



Andrew will work alongside Michael Greenlees, who became Chief Executive in
October 2007, and Nick Manning, who joined as Chief Operating Officer in
September 2007.



Michael Higgins, Chairman, said:



'Andrew worked closely with the Board during a period of significant change. We
are delighted to promote him to Finance Director as the company enters an
exciting phase of its development under the stewardship of its new management
team.



AIM Rules disclosure

Andrew has a holding of 20,000 ordinary shares of 25 pence each in the Company.
