Transaction in Own Shares

DUNEDIN INCOME GROWTH INVESTMENT TRUST PLC


On  10  May  2004,  Dunedin Income Growth Investment Trust plc bought  back  1.6
million  ordinary  shares  for  cancellation at  a  price  of  165p  per  share.
Following  the  buy back, there are 158,450,735 ordinary shares in  issue.   The
share buy-back will be financed out of the capital reserve.
