Appointment of a New Director
Dunedin Income Growth Investment Trust PLC is pleased to announce the
appointment of Mr Peter Wolton as an independent non-executive Director to the
Board, with effect from 4 May 2006.
Mr Peter Wolton qualified as a chartered surveyor with Savills and then worked
for Schroders for seventeen years in asset management, initially specialising in
the management of UK equity portfolios for pension funds and charities until
1993. He was based in Tokyo from 1994 where he was responsible for Schroders'
asset management activities in Japan. From 1998 to 2001 he headed Schroders'
global retail businesses. From 2002 to 2003 he was at Baring Asset Management
where he held the position of Chief Executive of the Investment Management
Group. He is a consultant to Oxford Investment Partners and serves on the
Investment Advisory Committees of the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) and Queen
Mary College, University of London. He is a director of TR Property Investment
Trust plc and a former director of Schroder Japan Growth Fund plc.
Mr Wolton currently has no beneficial interest in the shares of the Company.
There are no disclosures required under Section 9.6.13 (1) to (6) of the Listing
Rules.
