Appointment of a New Director

Dunedin Income Growth Investment Trust PLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Elisabeth Scott as an independent non-executive Director to the Board, with effect from 24 January 2012.

Ms Scott worked for Schroders in Hong Kong from 1992 until 2008, most recently as Country Head.  Previously she was responsible for Schroders' institutional client business in Hong Kong and managed multi-asset portfolios. She chaired the Hong Kong Investment Funds Association between 2005 and 2007.  She is a director of Pacific Horizon Investment Trust PLC and Fidelity China Special Situations Investment Trust PLC.

Ms Scott currently has no beneficial interest in the shares of the Company.

There are no other disclosures required under Section 9.6.13 (1) to (6) of the Listing Rules
