                          BOARD APPOINTMENT AT DIGIT

Dunedin Income Growth Investment Trust PLC (DIGIT), announces the appointment
of John Scott as a non executive director of the company with immediate
effect.

John Scott (48) is an executive director of Lazard Brothers & Co., Limited. He
joined Lazard Brothers in 1981 and has been a director of the company since
1988. He has considerable experience from complex advisory assignments of
financial structuring and knowledge of financial markets. He is a Fellow of
the Chartered Insurance Institute and a Member of the Securities Institute.
