Purchase of own securities


On 10 October 2002, Dunedin Enterprise Investment Trust plc announced that on 9
October 2002 it purchased for cancellation 50,000 ordinary shares in the market
at a price of 207p per ordinary share. The number of shares stated as being in
issue of 31,061,934 was incorrect due to a clerical error. The Company confirms
that as a result of this and purchases already announced as at 11 October 2002
there remain 31,141,941 ordinary shares in issue.
