Billam PLC announces that yesterday it granted options over  ordinary
shares of 20 pence  each to the following  directors, at an  exercise
price of 20 pence per share :
Howard Cramer                       900,000
Nishith Malde                           700,000
Simon Bennett                          300,000

These options may be exercised  between three to ten years  following
the date they were granted.
