                         DATE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The issuer has advised that the following amendment should have been made to the
Notice of Results announcement released at 09:54 on Thursday 19 February 2004,
under RNS no. 6000V. Its preliminary results are for the year to 31 December
2003 not the year to 30 September 2003. The full corrected version appears
below.

The Board of Billam Plc, the investment company, announces that it expects to
release its preliminary results for the year to 31 December 2003 on Friday 27
February 2004.

The Company's Annual General Meeting will be held on 30 March 2004 at midday, at
the offices of KBC Peel Hunt Ltd., 111 Old Broad Street, London EC2V 7BU.
