BILLAM PLC - DIRECTORATE CHANGE

Further to the announcement made earlier today, and as required by
section 282 of the Companies Act 1985, Mr Simon Bennett has
appointed, with the consent of the Requisitionists, Victor Beamish as
Chairman and Nishith Malde as a director of Billam Plc with immediate
effect. As required under paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM
Rules, details of Nishith Malde are provided below.

Nishith Malde FCA, aged 47, qualified as a chartered accountant in
1985 with KPMG and specialised in advising owner managed businesses.
He left KPMG in 1989 to set up a consultancy firm which later merged
with an audit practice where he was the partner responsible for the
affairs of Country & Metropolitan PLC ("C&M").  He joined C&M as
Finance Director and Company Secretary in November 1998.  C&M PLC
shares were Listed and traded on the London Stock Exchange in
December 1999 when its market capitalisation was £6.9m and was
acquired by Gladedale Holdings PLC for approximately £72 million in
April 2005.  He is also a non-executive director of SLR Holdings Ltd,
which has a successful international environmental consultancy
business.
