Further to the reference made in the Trading Update released on 18 December
2007, Drax confirms that it will be announcing its preliminary results for the
year ended 31 December 2007 on Tuesday 4 March 2008.

Information regarding the results presentation meeting and call-in arrangements
is detailed below.

Management will host a presentation for analysts and investors at 9:00am (UK
Time) on Tuesday 4 March 2008, at the City Presentation Centre, 4 Chiswell
Street, Finsbury Square, London, EC1Y 4UP.

The meeting can also be accessed remotely via a conference call or alternatively
