Notification of Transactions of Directors, 

Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility or Connected Persons

Tony Quinlan, Finance Director and a person discharging managerial responsibility has today purchased 2,500 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 439.875 pence per share. 

The total number of ordinary shares in which Tony Quinlan has an interest following this acquisition is 3,303. 

Awards made under the Company's Bonus Matching Plan which were announced on 29 April 2009 remain the same.

The notification is in accordance with DTR 3.1.4 R(1)(a) and DTR 3.1.4 R(1)(b) and the dealing was in respect of ordinary shares of 11 16/29 pence each in the share capital of the Company of which there were 364,853,890 shares in issue at the time of the dealing.
