Downing Strategic Micro-Cap Investment Trust Plc

("DSM" or the "Trust")

AGM Statement and Portfolio Up-date

DSM announces that at 2:45pm today, or immediately following the formal business of the Trust's first AGM, which is being held at 2:30 pm at the Andaz Hotel, 40 Liverpool Street, London EC2M 7QN, the Management team will make a presentation to shareholders and other interested attendees about their investment process, the portfolio that has been established over the last year since IPO, and prospects going forward. The priority over the course of the next year will be to ensure that the value within the portfolio begins to be realised.

As at 25 June 2018, the Trust was 78.4% invested. At the presentation, the Manager will give details of the portfolio as set out below:
