Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

Dotdigital Group plc  (AIM: DOTD), the leading 'SaaS' provider of an omnichannel marketing automation and customer engagement platform, is pleased to announce the appointment of Alistair Gurney as Chief Financial Officer and to the Board of Directors, effective 19^th September 2022.

Alistair brings significant experience in private equity backed technology businesses. He joins the Group from Unit4, a global SaaS ERP vendor, where he was Director of Financial Planning & Analysis. Prior to Unit4, he was Director of Commercial Finance at IRIS Software, one of the UK's largest Private software companies, providing mission critical administrative software to the Accountancy and Education markets in particular.

Alistair qualified as a Chartered Accountant at Deloitte. In his career to date, Alistair has been responsible for the P&L of several companies, was central in the appraisal and execution of M&A, and played a leading role in two substantial exits. He has an established track record of driving both efficiency and productivity across all business functions and improving business information for all stakeholders.
