As of 17 April, 2009, Ivar Brandvold, Chief Operating Officer of DNO
International ASA ("DNO"), has been assigned voting rights for the
ordinary general meeting in Det norske oljeselskap ASA ("Detnor"),
scheduled to take place on 20 April, 2009. Ivar Brandvold will
represent DNO as proxy for a total of 16 231 255 Detnor shares,
representing DNO's 25% shareholding in Detnor.


In addition, Ivar Brandvold will represent another shareholder as
proxy for 5 000 Detnor shares.
