As of 28 January, 2009, Helge Eide , Managing Director of DNO
International ASA ("DNO"), has been assigned voting rights for the
extraordinary general meeting in Det norske oljeselskap ASA
("Detnor"), scheduled to take place on 2 February, 2009. The proxy
assignment was made by DNO to Helge Eide for a total of 16 231 255
Detnor shares, representing DNO's 25% shareholding in Detnor.
