Products, I.T. Parts Services and Industrial Controls, announces the appointment of Richard Moon as Non-Executive Director as of 1st September 2004. Richard Moon has a wealth of experience in the electronics industry with an impeccable track record in Defence, Civil Aerospace, Information Technology and Services as Managing Director, Chief Executive and Chairman. These roles were with blue chip companies such as Thorn EMI, Racal, where he was on the main plc Board, and Thales, where he was Chief Executive of Thales plc and a member of the Executive Board in Paris. He was also a member of the National Defence Industry Council and a Vice President of the Federation of Electronics Industry. Since 2001 when he ceased day-to-day executive responsibility he has become a Non-Executive Chairman or Director of a number of public and private businesses in Poland, Germany, France and the UK.
