DIAGONAL PLC ('Diagonal' or 'the Company') - ANNOUNCEMENT


Diagonal announces with regret that DAVID BERESFORD has resigned as an
Executive Director of the Company.  In the fast changing world of Information
Technology, David is taking the opportunity of joining a young technical
consultancy as an equity partner.

We wish him every success in the years ahead and will miss his enthusiasm and
leadership.

Diagonal is particularly pleased that Dave Thompson, Managing Director of our
networking consultancy, Eurostar, will assume day to day management of the
recently formed SOLUTIONS group of companies.  With over ten years' experience
and an outstanding reputation in the industry, Diagonal is confident that
David has a significant contribution to make.
