Transaction in Own Shares

 

DFS Furniture plc ("DFS" or the "Group"), today announces that it purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of £0.10 each on Exchange (as defined in the Rules of the London Stock Exchange) from Peel Hunt LLP pursuant to its Share Buyback Programme, details of which were announced on 15 March 2022.

 

Jefferies International Limited has concluded the first tranche of DFS's Share Buyback Programme. From 03 August 2022, the second tranche commenced and is being undertaken by Peel Hunt LLP.

DFS intends to retain the purchased shares in treasury.

Following the above transaction, the Company will have 258,636,720 ordinary shares of £0.10 each in issue. The total number of shares held by the Company in treasury is 10,361,156.

Therefore, the total voting rights in the Company is 248,275,564 and this figure may be used by shareholders (and others with notification obligations) as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
