BOARD COMPOSITION

DFS Furniture plc ("DFS", or the "Company") today announces that further to the previous announcement on 31 July 2018 Julie Southern, a non-Executive Director of the Company, will remain as a director of the Company until 31 March 2019 and will continue as the Chair of the Audit Committee and member of the Remuneration and Nomination Committees until that date.

The Company has taken this step in order to ensure it can complete the appointment of a replacement non-executive director and to ensure a smooth transfer of responsibilities to a new Chair of the Audit Committee
