We wish to inform you that the Board of Directors have today appointed Mr Jared
C Sinclair, BSc, ACA an Executive Director of Dewhurst plc responsible for
finance.

Mr Sinclair is currently Group Finance Manager and although he will retain his
current duties his appointment to the parent company board will enable him to
make a wider contribution to the subsidiary companies within the Group.
