             Deltex Medical Group plc ('Deltex Medical' or the 'Company'),

                                Issue of Equity

Deltex Medical Group plc the UK's leading haemodynamic monitoring company,
announces that it has today issued a total of 398,153 new ordinary shares in the
Company to certain advisors to the Company at a price of 20.25 pence per share.

These advisors have elected to take shares in lieu of cash payment for their
services to the Company.


Accordingly, application has been made for these shares to be admitted to
trading on AIM.  The shares rank pari passu with the existing issued shares of
the Company and dealings are expected to commence on 10 May 2007.  Following the
issue of these new shares the Company has 83,298,441 total voting rights in
issue.
