Deltex Medical Group PLC (the 'Company') - Placing of new ordinary shares to
raise approximately £840,000 (the'Placing')



The Board is pleased to announce that Charles Stanley & Co Limited has placed
5,609,269 new ordinary shares of 1 pence each with institutional investors to
raise approximately £840,000.



The shares were placed at a price of 15 pence per share.  The Placing represents
10.0 per cent. of the existing issued share capital of the Company.



The proceeds of the placing will be used to augment the Company's existing
working capital facilities.



Application will be made for the new ordinary shares to be admitted to trading
on the Alternative Investment Market and dealings are expected to commence on 30
October 2003.
