Deltex Medical Group plc ('Deltex' or the 'Company') was informed today that, in
accordance with section 198 to 210 of the Companies Act 1985 (as amended), The
Throgmorton Trust plc has sold 50,000 Deltex Medical ordinary 1p shares on 19
February 2004.  Following the sale The Throgmortion Trust plc retains a holding
of 1,850,000 Deltex Medical 1p ordinary shares representing 2.9983% of the
Company's issued share capital.  The shares are registered in the name of HSBC
Global Custody Nominee (UK) a/c 811664.
