Deltex Medical Group plc ('Deltex' or the 'Company') was informed today in
accordance with section 198 of the Companies Act 1985 (as amended), that
Throgmorton Trust plc  sold 100,000 Deltex shares on 3 Decemeber 2003 and
consequently has  a total holding of 3,053,625 ordinary shares representing
4.95% of the Company's issued share capital. The shares are registered in the
name of HSBC Global Custody Nominee (UK) Ltd a/c 811664.
