Deltex Medical Group plc (the 'Company') has been notified today that certain of
its employees have acquired 251,666 ordinary shares of 1p each as the result of
the exercise of an option under the Company's Enterprise Management Incentive
Scheme exercisable over 251,666 shares at a price of 1 pence per ordinary share.

Accordingly, application has been made for these shares to be admitted to
trading on the Alternative Investment Market. The shares rank pari passu with
the existing issued shares of the Company and dealings are expected to commence
on Monday 11 October 2004.
