Total Voting Rights

In accordance with the Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6, Dechra
Pharmaceuticals PLC

 ('Dechra Pharmaceuticals' or the 'Company') is required to notify the market of
the following:

At the date of this announcement, Dechra Pharmaceuticals' capital consists of
52,632,847 ordinary shares of 1 penny each, with voting rights. The Company does
not hold any shares in Treasury.

The above figure (52,632,847) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for
the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify
their interest in, or a change to their interest in Dechra Pharmaceuticals under
the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
