Voting Rights and Share Capital Update

In conformity with the Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6, Dechra
Pharmaceuticals PLC advises that its  issued capital has increased by 5,000
ordinary shares of 1p each.

Dechra Pharmaceuticals PLC does not hold any ordinary shares in Treasury.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Dechra Pharmaceuticals PLC is
52,637,847.

The above figure (52,637,847) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for
the calculations by which they will  determine if they are required to notify
their interst in, or a change to their interest in, Dechra Pharmaceuticals PLC
under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
