Directors Shareholding

Dechra Pharmaceuticals has today been informed by Malcolm Diamond (Non-Executive Director of the Company) that on 22nd December 2008 Transact Nominees acquired 3,907 ordinary shares of 1p each ('Ordinary Shares') in the Company at a price of £3.8166 per share for Mr Diamond's SIPP. Mr Malcolm Diamond was informed of this transaction, by Transact Nominees, on 9 January 2009.

Malcolm Diamond's beneficial interest in the Company is now 10,007 Ordinary Shares, which represents approximately 0.015 per cent of the Company's issued Ordinary Share capital.
