                           Completion of acquisition

Dechra Pharmaceuticals PLC ('Dechra' or 'Group') announces that it has
successfully completed the acquisition of VetXX Holding A/S, a leading
developer, producer and marketer of companion animal veterinary products, for a
total consideration of £61.7m.

Details of the Acquisition and Placing were announced on 12 December 2007. Full

website.
