                                 Treasury Shares

DCC plc announces that on 11 September 2007, 834 shares were transferred out of
the Company's holding of treasury shares pursuant to the exercise of options
under the DCC Sharesave Scheme 2001. The subscription price paid for these
shares was €12.63 per share.


DCC now has a total of 80,500,896 shares in issue excluding treasury shares and
7,728,508 shares held in treasury.
