                                 Treasury Shares

DCC plc announces that on 6 February 2008, 41,584 shares were transferred out of
the Company's holding of treasury shares pursuant to the exercise of options
under the DCC plc 1998 Employee Share Option Scheme. The subscription price paid
for these shares was €6.22 per share.

DCC now has a total of 80,621,392 shares in issue excluding treasury shares and
7,608,012 shares held in treasury.
