DCC plc announces that on 9 January 2006, 129 shares were transferred out of the
Company's holding of treasury shares pursuant to the exercise of options under
the DCC Sharesave Scheme 2001. The subscription price paid for these shares was
€12.63.

DCC has a total of 88,229,404 shares in issue, of which 7,775,015 shares are now
held in treasury.
