RE: BROCHURE OF PARTICULARS



A Block Listing application has been made to the Irish Stock Exchange and to
the UK Listing Authority for 105,000 Ordinary Shares of EUR 0.25 each to be
re-admitted to the Official List of the Irish Stock Exchange and the Official
List of the UK Listing Authority, and to the London Stock Exchange for such
shares to be re-admitted to trading.

The shares being reserved under the Block Listing will be re-issued pursuant
to the DCC Plc 1998 Employee Share Option Scheme.

When re-issued, these shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the
existing fully paid ordinary shares at the date of re-issue.

Copies of this announcement are available from the Registered Office of the
Company for fourteen days following the date of publication.
