OFT clears the acquisition by DCC of BP's LPG business in Britain

DCC plc, the sales, marketing, distribution and business support services group, is pleased that the UK Office of Fair Trading ("OFT") has today formally cleared the acquisition by DCC of BP's LPG business in Britain.

The "hold separate" undertakings entered into by DCC with the OFT will now fall away and DCC will now be free to integrate the BP business with Flogas, DCC's existing LPG distribution business in Britain.

Details of the acquisition which was completed on 30 September 2012 were set out in a DCC Stock Exchange announcement on 8 August 2012.
