Re: Notification of Transactions in Shares of Public Limited Companies







I refer to Chapter 2 Section 91 of Companies Act 1990.  In this regard I am to
notify you that our holding in DCC Plc has decreased from 10 to 9%.



As at the 11th of September 2006 Bank of Ireland Asset Management Limited held
8,630,824 units of DCC Plc.  Of this holding, 431,586 units are registered in
the name of Nortrust Nominees Ltd, 58,750 units are registered in the name of
BNY Custodians Ltd and 8,140,488 units are registered in the name of Bank of
Ireland Nominees Ltd, as registered owner only, on behalf of a range of clients
each of whom are the beneficial owner of a portion of the holding.



Our interest is being calculated using an Issued Share Capital figure plus
Treasury shares which amounts to 88,229,404 which was advised by the company on
the 11th September 2006.
