                            Dividend from Manor Park

DCC plc ('DCC') announces that, following a share capital reorganisation by its
49% owned associate, Manor Park Homebuilders Limited ('Manor Park'), DCC has
received a dividend of €172 million from Manor Park, as franked investment
income.

The dividend received by DCC will give rise to an exceptional profit of
approximately €86 million. DCC now expects to report an overall Group
exceptional profit for the year as a whole of approximately €25 million.

Following the receipt of this dividend, the value of DCC's 49% shareholding in
Manor Park is no longer material.
