                           CLARIFICATION ANNOUNCEMENT

                       TO THE 2007 THIRD QUARTERLY REPORT


Reference is made to the Results Announcement. The Board of the Company wishes
to clarify with respect to certain clerical errors contained in the Results
Announcement and of which revisions are required to be made.


Reference is made to the announcement of Datang International Power Generation
Co., Ltd. (the 'Company') in respect of the 2007 third quarterly report dated
25 October 2007 (the 'Results Announcement'). The board of directors 
(the 'Board') of the Company noticed that errors are contained in the Results
Announcement.



The Board of the Company wishes to clarify with respect to the clerical errors
contained in the Results Announcement and of which revisions are required to be
