Completion of AOL acquisition



Carphone Warehouse has now completed the acquisition of the UK customer base of
AOL's Internet access business from Time Warner Inc., with effect from 29
December 2006.  Customer numbers on completion will be disclosed with the third
quarter trading statement due for release on 12 January 2007.
