Director Shareholding


The Company received notification on 20 January 2005 that James Dale, a director
of the Company, exercised options in respect of 296,000 shares in the Company on
that day, as follows:



Options in respect of 200,000 shares with an exercise price of 50p;


Options in respect of 96,000 shares with an exercise price of 125p.


Following this exercise, Mr Dale sold the 296,000 shares on the same day at a
price of 173p.


After this sale, Mr Dale continues to hold 150,500 shares in the Company,
representing 0.02% of the issued share capital of the Company.
