The Carphone Warehouse Group PLC ('Company')

Listing of Shares

The Company has made an application to the UK Listing Authority for 8,000,000
Ordinary Shares of 0.1 pence each to be admitted to the Official List and for
them to be admitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange.

The application comprises a blocklisting of 2,000,000 Ordinary Shares under the
Company's Group Sharesave Scheme and 6,000,000 Ordinary Shares that are to be
allotted to The Carphone Warehouse Group PLC Employee Share Ownership Trust for
the purpose of employee share schemes and certain other bonus arrangements
satisfied by shares.

It is expected that admission of the shares will take place and dealings will
commence on 24th September 2007.
