Cancellation of Treasury Shares

The Company announces that 2,057,296 A Shares and 1,088,432 B shares each held as treasury shares, are cancelled with immediate effect.

Following this cancellation, the Company's issued share capital consists of 102,067,144 A shares and 32,076,703 B shares, of which 6,249,000 A shares and 2,050,000 B shares are held in treasury. Therefore the total number of shares with voting rights in Investors Capital Trust plc is 95,818,144 A shares and 30,026,703 B shares.

The above figures (95,818,144 and 30,026,703) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Investors Capital Trust plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
