Performance update

·    Investors Capital Trust outperforms its benchmark index since launch

Since the launch of the Company in February 2007 to 31 March 2012, the Company has outperformed its benchmark index. The net asset value per share total return* performance of the Company has been +19.5 per cent which compares favourably with the +15.0 per cent return from the benchmark FTSE All-Share Capped 5% Index. Under the Company's constitution, this performance means that there will not be a vote at the 2012 annual general meeting on whether the Company should continue. The next such performance period will run for the five years from 1 April 2012 to 31 March 2017.
