Dividend and Capital Distribution

The Board of Investors Capital Trust plc announces a third quarter dividend of 1.325 pence per share on the A shares of the Company.  This dividend will be paid on 5 February 2010 to A shareholders on the register on 8 January 2010.  A third quarter capital distribution of 1.325 pence per share will be paid on the B shares of the Company on 5 February 2010 to B shareholders on the register on 8 January 2010. Capital distributions on B shares are paid at the same time and in an amount equal to each dividend paid on an A share.  

The dividend yield on an A share was 7.0 per cent. based on the A share price of 76 pence as at 15 December 2009. This compares favourably with the yield on the FTSE All-Share Index of 3.3 per cent at the same date.

For those shareholders that hold units (each comprising 3 A shares and one B share) the distribution yield on this unit holding was 7.1 per cent based on a unit price of 301.5 pence as at 15 December 2009.
