Dividend and Capital Distribution

The Board of Investors Capital Trust plc announces a second quarter dividend of 1.325 pence per share on the A shares of the Company.  This dividend will be paid on 7 November 2008 to A shareholders on the register on 3 October 2008.  A second quarter capital distribution of 1.325 pence per share will be paid on the B shares of the Company on 7 November 2008 to B shareholders on the register on 3 October 2008. Capital distributions on B shares are paid at the same time and in an amount equal to each dividend paid on an A share.  

The dividend yield on an A share was 6.6 per cent. based on the A share price of 81.5 pence as at 2  September 2008. This compares favourably with the yield on the FTSE All-Share Index of 4.0 per cent at the same date.

For those shareholders that hold units (each comprising 3 A shares and one B share) the distribution yield on this unit holding was 6.6 per cent based on a unit price of 325 pence as at 2 September 2008.
