This is to inform you that at the Annual General Meeting of Foreign & Colonial 
PEP and ISA Investment Trust PLC held on 31st January 2002, a resolution was 
passed changing the name of the Company to 'F&C PEP and ISA Investment Trust 
PLC'.

The effective date of change is 4th February 2002.
