Crown Place VCT PLC announces that on 15 December 2006 it purchased, to be held
in treasury, 102,839 Ordinary 10p Shares (representing 0.1% of the issued Share
Capital), at a price of 39p per Ordinary Share.

Following the purchase of the 102,839 Ordinary Shares, the total number of
treasury shares held by the Company will be 7,260,410. The issued share capital
of the Company, less the total number of Ordinary Shares held in Treasury, will
be 78,839,463 Ordinary 10p Shares.
