Crown Place VCT PLC announces that on 27 June 2006 it purchased, to be held in
treasury, 1,159,006 Ordinary 10p Shares (representing 1.4% of the issued Share
Capital), at a price of 35p per Ordinary Share.

Following the purchase of the 1,159,006 Ordinary Shares, the total number of
treasury shares held by the Company will be 5,914,590. The issued share capital
of the Company, less the total number of Ordinary Shares held in Treasury, will
be 80,185,283 Ordinary 10p Shares.
