The Board of Crown Place VCT PLC announces that it has received approval from
H.M. Revenue & Customs to pay the dividends out of realised capital profits as
detailed in the Report and Accounts for the period ended 31 August 2006 and in
the announcement of 21 November 2006.

Accordingly, a dividend of 1.25 pence will be paid (comprising 0.8 pence from
revenue and 0.45 pence out of realised capital gains).

Dividends will be paid on 19 January 2007 to shareholders on the register on 22
December 2006.
