Croda International PLC ('Croda') announces that it has purchased the following
number of its ordinary shares of £0.10 each on the London Stock Exchange via UBS
Investment Bank.

Highest price paid per share:                   317p

Lowest price paid per share:                    317p

Volume weighted average price per share:        317p

Croda intends to hold the purchased shares in treasury.


Following the purchase of these shares, Croda holds 1,390,484 of its ordinary
shares in treasury and has 134,878,360 ordinary shares in issue (excluding
treasury shares).
