number of its ordinary shares of £0.10 each on the London Stock Exchange via UBS
Investment Bank.

Number of ordinary shares purchased:         90,000

Highest price paid per share:                458p

Lowest price paid per share:                 452p

Volume weighted average price per share:     455.7p

Croda intends to hold the purchased shares in treasury.

Following the purchase of these shares, Croda holds 7,862,589 of its ordinary
shares in treasury and has 128,406,255 ordinary shares in issue (excluding
treasury shares).
